If there is one thing we know, its decals and stickers! Our fearless leader, Danette, mastered this art 12 years ago and she’s been perfecting it ever since to our now AMAZING product that no one can compete with! Our decals are easy to put up with quick steps to follow, and even easier to remove if you ever decide it’s time to change things up! To show you a comparison, we chose a decal from one of our competitors and are going to explain to you what makes us different addressing 3 of our most asked questions. Check it out!

How do our decals come?

Sweetums: In ONE piece! Every single decal we produce contains three layers:

1. The top layer is the transfer tape.
2. The middle layer is the decal.
3. The bottom layer is the waxy backing paper.

The three layers each do something different and allow for easy transfer to the surface you are applying to. Easy peel, stick and remove!

Our Competitors: They are all different but the majority of them (like this example) come with each word individually, or in sections, making it difficult to lay it out evenly or space properly on your surface. They backing is also something that doesn’t always come off easily, and sometimes tears the decal when applying.

 

How do you apply our decals? 

Sweetums: Applying our decals is simple, and we make it even easier by providing you with a short list of steps to follow! We give clear instructions (literally from start to finish) with a nice, easy to read “How to Apply” card sent with your decal. We also took it a step further and made a short video (which we have on our website) for you to view if you just want some reassurance. Our competitors: The directions sent with this specific example were super small and really vague.The only way to know how to lay it out was a very small black and white photo in the top corner of the sheet, and let’s be honest, we need directions!

Why do we choose vinyl instead of the other options our competitors use?
One word: QUALITY! 

Sweetums: We have one end goal when delivering to our customers - providing a quality, well made product! Our decals are just vinyl, which make them look “painted” on the walls, rather than stuck up like a sticker! Using this method allows for longer lasting decals, and when little hands are curious and want to touch, fingerprints don’t show up! Hello, Mom-hack =)

Our Competitors: While it does seem nice at first glance that this decal is repositionable with individual pieces, the clear backing is very plastic looking on the walls and shows lint and fingerprints! Not to mention, it doesn’t look professional and finished. Due to the solid colored vinyl we use, the repositionable option is not something that we can offer for our decals, but we have found that the ease of application with just ONE piece is a game changer for our customers, and lasts longer on your walls!
