We are coming off a few crazy weeks after attending the Prairie Peddler Festival in Butler in early October and just last weekend the Oak Ridge Festival in our backyard here in Attica. One of our most favorite things to do in the Fall and Winter is attend Markets and Festivals where we get to meet other fabulous small business owners and new customers! Call us basic, but we love a good pumpkin patch, hay ride & apple orchard! Anyone else?

We thought we would give you a look inside a few of our favorite Markets and Festivals in Ohio for the upcoming weeks. Here are 5 events you won’t want you to miss!

1. Ramseyer Farms Fall Festival Weekends | October 26-27 | Wooster
   This little gem is a 5th generation potato farm that holds different festivals each weekend throughout the Fall season. The Farm offers corn mazes, hay rides, farm animals, slides, pedal carts, and over 45 different activities for all ages! The country store on site offers u-pick and pre-picked pumpkins, gourds, fall decorations, jarred goods, toys, apparel and other fun gift items! 2. Vintage Market Days of Dayton-Cincinnati | November 1-3 | Greene County Fairgrounds
   This AMAZING marketplace is a three day event held several times a year in various different communities throughout the country. Each Market is unique in that it hosts different local vendors and artisans to the area displaying their talents and passions. The Market not only includes vendors to shop, but also hosts live music, amazing food, activities and more! This market brings a Vintage Experience to the vendors and customers who attend, and it is not to be missed! Can you say AH-MAZING! Check it out!

3. Ohio Made Holiday Market | November 15-16 | Hollywood Casino Columbus 
   Ohio Made LLC is a community of makers and shoppers who have come together to promote local and small business by providing high quality Ohio Made events. Their Holiday Market is a fun atmosphere showcasing over 80 one-of-a-kind boutiques and specialty small businesses from all over the state! Hosted at the Hollywood Casino in Columbus gives the event a unique feel and offers many activities for our visitors to enjoy. Shop home decor and gift items, enjoy fine dining options, signature cocktails, snap your photo with Santa and celebrate the Holiday season. 4. Holiday Tree Festival | November 21-December 2 | Downtown Akron
   An event presented by the Volunteers of Akron Children’s Hospital {and all proceeds going to the Akron Children’s Hospital} the festival takes place in downtown Akron at the John S. Knight Center. More than 200 decorated trees, 85,000 strings of lights and a handful of other holiday items are displayed, all of which are for sale and help raise funds to benefit the organization {last year $312,000}. 5. Christmas in the Village Handmade Marketplace | December 6-7 | Historic Downtown Plymouth
   Have you ever seen a famous Hallmark Christmas movie? Well, you will step right into one when you attend Christmas in the Village! Enjoy tastes from several food trucks and specialty food vendors, sip cocktails from local crafts, listen to live seasonal music, shop the over 80 handmade vendors and small business vendors, and participate in all the FREE attractions and activities available {Axe Throwing, Carriage Rides, Santa & his live Reindeer, Ice Skating, and more!} Plymouth is a small local community to us and we are pleased to attend the Market this year as a vendor!
