Sweetums Signatures, LLC creates custom products for homes, businesses, events, and everyday moments. Designed and produced here in Attica, Ohio, every order is created with love from our team and our door to yours.
OWNER
Danette Martin
Sweetums Signatures was never really part of the plan. In my early twenties, I had a corporate position I enjoyed, but it required constant travel. I hated being away from home and dreamed of one day starting a family.
At the same time, I was tinkering with what I thought was just a hobby—creating stickers for my husband’s race car and designing pieces for the home I had just purchased. Once I realized I could create products that other people might love too, I started building the business from hotel rooms while traveling for work.
What began as a creative side project quickly blossomed into a business serving customers around the country. Today, Sweetums Signatures is still rooted in that same passion for creativity, quality, and meaningful work.
When I’m not working, I’m busy with my two kids and all of their activities, and I absolutely love family time and boating at the lake. I truly believe everything happens for a reason—and that if you work hard, anything is possible.
Meet the people behind Sweetums
Ashley
Ashley grew up in Attica, Ohio and graduated from Seneca East High School. After continuing her studies at The University of Toledo, she chose to put down roots in her hometown and grow her career at Sweetums.
As Head of Design, Ashley helps shape the look and feel of the products we create every day. When she’s not singing songs while working at the shop, you can find her relaxing, enjoying snacks, and watching a good binge with her husband and their pups.
Karsyn Bour
Karsyn grew up outside of Bloomville, Ohio and attended Seneca East High School. She joined Sweetums after graduation while continuing her education at Terra State and Tiffin University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
After graduation, Karsyn knew she wanted to keep growing her career here at Sweetums. Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors—especially gardening—taking care of her chickens and ducks, playing with her two dogs, and spending time with family and friends.
Olivia Burkholder
Olivia grew up in Republic, Ohio and attended Seneca East. She joined Sweetums in early 2025 while taking online classes for real estate.
As Head of Apparel, Olivia helps keep every apparel order organized, consistent, and moving. When she’s not working, she can usually be found at her siblings’ sporting events, watching sports at home, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her dog, Nala.
Meet Oliver
Every great shop needs a helper, and Oliver proudly fills the role. He keeps the team company, makes the rounds, and adds a little extra personality to the Sweetums workspace.
